Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a serious cardiovascular condition in which the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs. If you don’t take your medications exactly as your doctor prescribes, your CHF can get worse.

However, with lifestyle changes and support, people with CHF can lead full and enjoyable lives. In addition to monitoring your medications, it’s important to work closely with your doctor and attend all your appointments. Our caregivers can help schedule appointments, provide transportation to appointments, and assist with activities of daily living.

Additional services we can provide to clients dealing with heart failure:

  • Compliance with diet: meal preparation following restricted sodium, low saturated fat and/or low cholesterol
  • Bathing and grooming assistance
  • Light housekeeping
  • Transportation to and from appointments
