Allen Chan
Allen: Traveller, Cook, Family-First
“We’re excited to be helping people find the right person and make them feel good about their family situation.” - Allen Chan
Allen’s father and mother-in-law lived with Alzheimer’s disease. Going through these trying times shed light on what people go through when dealing with aging parents.
This was a life-long calling for both Allen and the time was right to make the leap.
The Right Choice Rose to the Top
The more Allen learned about ComForCare, the clearer it became that this was the right fit for him. The mission spoke to him on a personal level and he knew that his personality would work to serve his community in a powerful way.
Allen not only cares about people and his community, but brings back-end business know-how to the table thanks to his years of banking experience. In fact, Allen cares so deeply about others that he is a World Vision Canada sponsor of 10 children and is a crisis responder volunteer at Kids Help Phone Canada
The Heart of the Matter
“This is about helping our clients and helping their family members as well. Finding the right caregiver unlocks the ability to spend more valuable time together with their loved one,” Allen said.
Allen further stated, “It brings great satisfaction and fulfillment to find the right people and match people in need. We’re helping people find the right person and make them feel good about their family situation. That’s why I was so excited and I know we can help and make an impact.”
